We work alongside our recommended contractors who undertake the hard landscaping and structural elements of all our projects, with us supplying and implementing any planting. Through years of delivering projects, we have built fantastic networks of skilled professionals, who can construct our designs to the highest quality and detail. Allowing us to focus on design and planting to bring the projects to life.

We also offer project management and monitoring to clients who have sourced their own contractor.

During our initial chat we typically cover the following key points:

- Answer any initial questions, outside of our FAQ page

-          Confirm your address, details of your property, the existing plot and explore the main goals for the project.

- Discuss budgets and overall anticipated project costs,

- Explain how our design services work,

-          Discuss your ideal time frames and our typical lead times,

- Talk through the next steps in the process to begin your design journey.

 Our fees are set at 6% of the overall project value and are subject to VAT.

An open dialogue about budget is always useful from the offset, as it sets a parameter of what is feasible to include within your design brief.

A guide budget range to spend on the external spaces of a property is between 5-10% of the overall property value. For example, a £1m property would indicate a starting budget of £50-100k. This is only an indicative guide however and often does not align with our client’s brief, with items such as swimming pools/spa’s, outdoor kitchens or bespoke elements exceeding the upper range – we are happy to advise on this.

Essentially everything you will need to get the project rolling.

-          2d annotated scale Layout Plan (A2/A1/A0 – Project scale dependant)

-          Illustrative Layout Plan – Coloured plan with accurate shadows and material textures

-          3d Modelling to produce CGI visualisations and video walkthrough of the scheme

-          Planting and Material suggestions – with Square Meterage of each and typical construction build up.

-          Initial Dimensions Plan

-          Itemised Estimate for Construction and Soft Landscaping.

We have found this package provides enough information to both client and contractor to begin pricing the project with our recommended contractors.

Beyond this, we can on request and with an agreed additional fee produce the following:

Planting Plans, Construction Drawings & Elevations, Lighting Suggestions, Irrigation plans etc.

Once the design has been finalised, we can introduce you to our recommended contractors who can begin quoting for the hard landscaping elements. We are also happy to work alongside contractors who may already be on site undertaking work.

We understand that it is not always logistically or financially feasible to undertake all the construction of our designs in one hit, so often a phased approach is utilised. We are happy to advise on the best logistical solution to ensure your project is ran as economically as possible whilst still delivering the best quality possible.
